What video editing software can I use on MacBook that is similar to Final Cut Studio 2?

I have been told that the MacBook is too weak to run final cut studio 2 so does anyone know of another video editing software that MacBook will support?

Actually, when Digital Media Net ran some benchmark tests they found that even the original macbooks last year could run Final Cut without a problem, even rendering DVCPRO HD files as fast or faster than a G5 tower.

New macbooks are getting faster and faster, and the more RAM you have the better, obviously. Maybe a better option would be to upgrade the RAM :) But it doesn't look like you'll have a problem.

Check out the specs here http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/specs.html

Hope that helps!
